Step 1: Get Your Following and Followers Lists

Because CompareLists never connects to Instagram, you supply your own lists. You can collect your usernames using either method below:

Method A: Instagram's Official Data Export Recommended for 100+ accounts

Instagram lets you download your account data directly from the app. It includes your complete Following and Followers lists:

Open Instagram and navigate to Settings → Accounts Center.
Under Account settings, tap Your Information and Permissions.
Select Download Your Information → Download or transfer information.
Choose Some of your information and scroll to check only Followers and Following.
Choose Download to device, select format as HTML or JSON, date range as All time, and tap Create files.
Within minutes, Instagram notifies you that your file is ready. Download and unzip the archive, then open following.html and followers_1.html to copy the usernames.

Method B: Manual Copy from the App or Web Best for small accounts
