Chrome Extension Privacy Policy
1. Your Lists and Data
When you paste text into List A or List B, all comparisons happen inside your browser using JavaScript. The extension does not transmit your data over the internet, and we do not operate a database to store what you compare.
2. Chrome Extension Storage
The extension uses Chrome local storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device for two simple purposes:
- Remembering your text and options (delimiter, trim, case sensitivity) so you don't lose your work when you close the popup.
- Remembering your preferred dark or light theme.
This data stays on your computer. You can clear it anytime by clicking Clear All inside the popup, or by uninstalling the extension.
3. Clipboard Permission
The extension asks for clipboardWrite permission for one reason only: to let you click the Copy buttons to quickly copy results back to your clipboard.
4. No Tracking, No Analytics, No Ads
The extension contains zero tracking scripts, zero advertising libraries, and zero analytics. It does not monitor your open tabs or view your browsing history.
5. Chrome Web Store Compliance
We follow the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies. We do not sell user data, we do not share data with third parties, and we do not use your information for advertising or credit assessments.
